Canary Care

A canary needs
• To be with other canaries.
• To have canary seed to eat and fresh clean water to drink every day. A canary needs to have grit to help its digestion and fresh chickweed or dandelion leaves sometimes.
• To live in an aviary or large cage which needs to be kept clean and tidy.
• Water to bathe in..
• Twigs from fruit trees to perch on.
• Shade from sunlight.
• A vet if unwell.
• To be looked after when you are on holiday.
• To be handled gently and with great care.
